2019: Completion of upgrade of a system of information security support

On December 2, 2019 the Jet Infosystems company announced project completion on upgrade of a system of information security support of the Sveza group. Increase in level of security of the enterprise from network attacks became result of the performed works.

The task was dictated by need of improvement of a system of protection of network perimeters of business units of the Sveza group for opposition to modern cyberthreats. During the project specialists of Information Security Center Jet Infosystems connected the firewalls of the last generation (NGFW) installed on 8 geographically distributed platforms of the enterprise to the system of centralized operation.

As our platforms are integrated by a big distributed network, for us it was extremely important not only to increase security, but also to unify means of protecting for minimization of probability of penetration of malefactors into uniform perimeter through the least protected link when preserving costs for maintenance at the previous level. Specialists Jet Infosystems professionally coped with an assigned task and showed deep examination in work with solutions of the class Next Generation Firewall. Carrying out the logical analysis of the network interactions and drawing up on its basis the politician of firewalling providing transparency of traffic observation on each platform became feature of the project.

the Idea was in from scratch to configure the detailed policy which would describe the greatest possible volume of network interactions for each platform and could involve as much as possible opportunities of the means of firewalling used by the enterprise. Such approach allowed us to create the system of protection of network perimeter. Standardization of project solutions, in turn, provided the most effective operation of a system by the customer,

The upgraded cybersecurity system provides protection of the enterprise against unauthorized access to network resources and operation of their vulnerabilities, infections with the software of botnets and also from transfer or delivery of the malware – not only known, but also using zero day attacks.

The achieved results were received including thanks to harmonious interaction of a project team both with cybersecurity specialists, and with employees of IT department of the Sveza group.

We consider information security as the most important factor of continuity of functioning of business processes of the company in general and IT services in particular. Therefore this project — long-term investment in reputation of the company and quality of our IT infrastructure.
