Svyaznoy Bank selected processing in "cloud" IT structure

On August 11, 2014 the Svyaznoy Bank announced increase in level of fault tolerance of operation of applications, placed in private "cloud" and existence of data protection in case of failures in work of information systems that is reached with implementation of a new storage system. The project was implemented by CROC company.

Project Tasks

"In 2013 we offered clients the new system of remote banking, and for simplification of payment transactions implemented own processing. It led to sharp increase in load of infrastructure. Having analyzed a situation, we decided that economically and strategically more profitable completely to pass to private "cloud". By the end of the project we had an opportunity to guarantee high quality of services for clients and to provide with resources of business need for the medium term without purchase of the additional hardware" — Alexander Panin, the director of DIT of Svyaznoy of Bank reported.

"Our specialists implemented a system in the Moscow data processing centers of Svyaznoy of Bank. It allows to redistribute flexibly loading in private "cloud". And in case of refusal all data processing center or interruptions in electricity operation of applications will be continued in reserve data center" — Dmitry Yakovlev, the director of work with corporate customers of CROC company told.

Project Progress

The solution is from two failover clusters a part of which hi-end the equipment for storage of EMC Symmetrix VMAX, virtualizator of DWH of EMC VPLEX, the Brocade switches is. The EMC VPLEX Metro technology is responsible for data access and their transfer between clusters.

Project Results
