Svyaznoy Bank starts CIS with the protected infrastructure from IBM

IT infrastructure based on the Power 7 servers from IBM is implemented into closed joint stock company "Svyaznoy Bank.

The IBM corporation completed the project of creation and administration of complex IT infrastructure of Svyaznoy of Bank.

Implementation

The solution developed by IBM company on the principles of IT outsourcing provides key needs of the customer: providing failsafe, high-performance IT infrastructure for rendering customer services, reducing costs for upgrade of IT, receiving an opportunity to focus on strategic problems of entry into the market, having provided development of IT to specialists of service division of IBM.

Start

Within three months specialists of IBM developed the distributed IT infrastructure on two hosting platforms in Moscow. New high-end servers of IBM Power 7 and also DWH and the server hardware of other producers were a part of a hardware platform.

Input of the solution in commercial operation took place in the third quarter 2010.
