2021: Test start of co-branded points of issue in Moscow and Kazan

On February 2, 2021 AliExpress Russia reported that together with Svyaznoy company  start in the test mode co-branded points of issue Svyaznoy of AliExpress. Residents of Moscow and Kazan can test and estimate such format of interaction in the first 10 shops for February, 2021 already.

Opening of joint points of issue became the next important stage of strategic partnership of two companies.

Joint points of issue of orders of Svyaznoy and AliExpress Russia are developed taking into account all market trends. A project objective – to make receiving sendings for clients comfortable, qualitative and fast. Issue points Svyaznoy of AliExpress are focused on issue of sendings from online stores and AliExpress Russia. Also clients will be able to purchase in shops of this format phones, accessories, tablets and other electronics from Svyaznoy company and to use other services – for example, to issue the insurance policy or the credit, to pay for housing and public utilities, to receive the card of payment by installments or to purchase a packet of settings, etc.

The scheme of receiving sendings of AliExpress will be standard: during a design of purchase on the website or in the application of AliExpress it will be offered to buyer to select convenient item of issue among which there will be Svyaznoy of AliExpress. When sending is brought to PVZ, the client will receive the SMS notification with the code which needs to be told the employee at the time of obtaining the order.

The market develops very in high gear, together with it there is also a transformation of a client request. We in "Svyaznoy' it is permanent in search of the most effective customer interaction. Testing of the provided format will allow us to understand customer needs, to analyze demand and to plan further ways of development. Opening of own co-branded points of issue is a big step for us and logical development of strategic partnership with "Svyaznoy'. With expansion of network of available points of issue to users it will become even simpler to find the most convenient and next point for receiving sending not to depend on conditions of a courier delivery. Further we are going to scale the project on other large cities. 2020: Start of sales on AliExpress

On September 16, 2020 the Svyaznoy company announced start of sale of electronics in the shop on AliExpress. This first placement of Svyaznoy on marketplaces — earlier the retailer sold goods only through own online store svyaznoy.ru and network offline - points.

It will be possible to receive the order with AliExpress in time from 2 to 10 days in any point of the country — the order will be brought by the courier directly to a door of the buyer. On start in Svyaznoy shop about 100 goods will be provided, but already in the nearest future the range will grow to 10 thousand positions (smartphones, the smartwatch, wireless earphones, [[Умные_колонки_Голосовые_помощники_%28рынок_России%29 | portable columns]] and other devices).

Demand for fitness bracelets, the smartwatch and other wearable devices for AliExpress after the end of the period of self-isolation grew by 80%. Xiaomi, Huawei and Honor and also Amazfit got to a top of the most popular manufacturing brands of devices. Demand for earphones grew by 30%, among best-sellers — compact wireless models inserts from Apple, Huawei and Xiaomi.

According to a research of AliExpress Russia and Research.me, top-5 the most popular brands of smartphones among the Russian buyers: Samsung, Xiaomi, Apple and also Honor and Huawei. The average cost of phone is 10-20 thousand rubles — for such amount more than 40% of respondents buy smartphones. 31: less than 10 thousand, 20% - from 20 to 40 thousand, 8% - more than 40 thousand rubles are guided by the amount. Most often smartphones on AliExpress are ordered by residents of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Perm.
