T8 LLC solved the majority of problems of job order production through business process automation using the Galaktika Production Management system.

The T8 enterprise is among the most high-growth Russian hi-tech companies. Nevertheless, it was faced by the difficulties characteristic of all domestic industry: lack of the unified information environment of management, diverse automation equipment, labor-consuming manual planning of the production program, opacity of logistic accounting, deficit necessary and surplus of unnecessary component parts in warehouses. All this prevented operational and effective acceptance of management decisions.

Project Tasks

Solving of tasks demanded their localization, a view of the processes involved in production as on a system in general. During inspection of the enterprise by the staff of Galaktika corporation weak points which complicate were revealed or make impossible achievement of a main goal of the enterprise at all — generation of profit:

• manual planning leads to impossibility of detailed assessment of feasibility of the production program in real time, to errors in planning, to lack of opportunities of the operational analysis of accomplishment of the new order at the existing loading of capacities;
• large warehouse stocks of materials and work in progress which freeze cash assets. The high level of stocks at the enterprise is caused by opacity of material accounting and purchased components in own production and subcontracting, purchases not to term;
• long terms of production of a product. The absence at the enterprise of a single system of product data management leads to failures to meet time constraints of deliveries because of not purchased or made component parts in time. Long completion dates are influenced by lack of the unified design-technology regulations. Data of need for any component even by several orders result in difficulties and a waste of time on search of all necessary documentation from the different systems sources.
