The system of geotechnical monitoring of reservoirs is designed to prevent man-made accidents due to the use of information technologies. Implementation of the system allows monitoring of complex parameters of the oil storage tank, including deformation of structures and non-uniformity of foundation settlement. In case of emergency or exceeding permissible parameters, the system will notify the customer. Thus, continuous analysis of data and determination of the degree of deviations allows timely prevention, prevention and elimination of the causes of deformation that can cause destruction, environmental pollution and the occurrence of explosive situations.

"The main goal of the project is to implement predictive analytics of the state of the tank for automated detection at an early stage of foundation settlement and deviation from the vertical of the forming walls of the tank, monitoring the change in stress-strain state. This is necessary for timely informing the personnel working with the object about a critical change in state parameters before the parameter values ​ ​ exceed the maximum permissible values, "- Ruslan Abdulmanov, specialist of TATNEFT's industrial safety department, curator of the project, explained.

The monitoring complex is a three-level information system using mainly wireless communication channels and including primary wireless inclination angle sensors (inclinometers), an information collection and transmission subsystem, an information storage and processing subsystem, as well as special software and an operator's workstation.

In a technical solution, Rostelecom proposed an import-independent centralized platform for collecting, processing and managing information, using a standard application programming interface (API) for unified connection of sensors and other solutions. All major connection technologies are supported, including LoRA, NB IoT, GSM/3G/LTE.

Pilot works include the supply of equipment, software, commissioning, as well as support for pilot operation for several months. In the future, Rostelecom is ready to provide warranty support for three years.

A feature of Rostelecom's technical solution is centralized collection, processing data storage and on its own reserved, protected to infrastructure reliability of the automated monitoring system and its technical support.
