Bashspirt implements AVARDA instead of "1C Astor"

The Bashkortostan trading house "Bashspirt", integrating network of 213 shops in the territory of the republic, finished the first stage of automation of the company based on ERP- platforms AVARDA.

The project started in the summer of 2010 after unfortunate attempt to automate work of trading house based on the solution "1C Astor". At the beginning of last year it was implemented in three outlets Bashspirt. However, the operating experience showed that it does not meet the requirements of the retailer for scaling and functionality.

In a system there was no analytical reporting. Besides, implementation "1C Astor" in all shops would demand significant investments into the server hardware and software, including acquisition of the license Windows and the new equipment, representatives of trading house said earlier.

As a result Bashspirt selected the AVARDA platform by such criteria as sufficient functionality and high performance. Played a role and that circumstance that a system can be developed independently. Besides, it rather budgetary also supports the distributed structure from hundreds of shops.

On initial stage of the project Bashspirt attracted Ansoft system integrator which was engaged in adding in the system of the reports connected with specifics of accounting of alcoholic products and also automation of the central office and the first shop. The last task was carried out within a month after the beginning of implementation.

Bashspirt carries out further works on replication of the solution by forces of own IT department as a part of five specialists. Within the first completed project stage it automates the main business processes of the central office and 108 shops, including all shops of the Ufa region. Now in a system 350 users work.

Replication of AVARDA continues on shopping facilities of network in the district centers Belebey, Birsk, Ermolayevo and Sterlitamak. According to the approved plan, transfer to work with a total quantity of cash places over 400 should happen in the AVARDA.RetailNetwork system of all 213 shops of the retailer during 2011.

AVARDA.RetailNetwork is used in Bashspirt for the centralized input of the normative reference information on suppliers and goods. Until automation of all shops of network parallel quantitative and amount-based account of inventory items on each shop is kept, monthly inventories of shops are carried out and also some other transactions is performed.

Points of sale in the automated shops are organized based on normal personal computers and scanners of barcodes, and as the operating system freely distributed Linux is used. The AVARDA.RetailNetwork system is integrated with the AMS-100K cash registers which the company used prior to the beginning of the project that allowed not to be spent for new fiscal registrars for the most part of shops. The similar solution for cash places helped to reduce the budget of automation significantly.

Using the system of replication AVARDA.ReplicationSystem information on sales detailed till a line of the check is transferred from cash desks to the central office of the company using any communication channels including GPRS modems. The trading house also uses a system for the autoorder of goods in shops: in the automatic mode creates orders for transportation of goods from the central warehouse of the company and from a number of external suppliers.

Within the next stages of system implementation of AVARDA in addition to replication it is going to enter into work additional functionality at the central office, including to optimize work with pricing and to implement management of programs of loyalty. Commissioning of the standard solution AVARDA for the organization of acquiring is also planned.

To the main results of the first stage of automation, by words Danila Levinskogo, the project manager from TD "Bashspirt", belongs "operational, as close as possible to a real-time mode, obtaining information on sales in each shop, gain of control over activity of objects of network and increase in transparency of their work".

Expectations from the project

"We expect that the AVARDA system will allow us to provide high centralization of management, to optimize our business processes and to increase profitability of the enterprise", Grigorenko Alexey Petrovich, the CEO of TD Bashspirt LLC says. "We selected the AVARDA system because of its broad functionality. It in standard option closes almost all our business processes, and on perspective. At the same time ownership cost quite acceptable".

The Leuven Danil Anatolyevich, the project manager from Bashspirt company adds: "The AVARDA system differs in good scalability and powerful tools for data exchange. It is especially important for such distributed company as ours. Using the AVARDA system we are going to accelerate significantly process of data acquisition about merchandising from remote divisions and to strengthen control over activity of all objects of network.
