Kama completed a stage of development of information system MRO

On March 26, 2018 the NPP Spectec company announced end of a stage of development of the information management system by maintenance and repairs of the equipment of PPM KAMA.

For the period operation of ISU of a MRO in it data on about 20 thousand planned works, about 7 thousand items of equipment are saved up, about 1400 defects are registered. In addition to use of a system when planning, providing and accomplishment of a MRO, the management of PPM Kama with its help carries out plan-fact cost analysis, labor inputs of works, executability of the work plan, analyze defects (on classes, types, the reasons, effects), reveal the most subject to defects the equipment, and on this basis make the relevant decisions.

Prerequisites

Due to the beginning of implementation on PPM Kama of the large investment project of construction in Russia of production of high-quality three-layer cardboard of the international FBB brand there was a need of development of ISU of a MRO under requirements of this project.

Tasks

Within the project production and auxiliary facilities – buildings with a total area over 100 thousand sq.m for placement of technology equipment and engineering infrastructure, including a complex of local treatment facilities will be constructed. Investment volume will be about 30 billion rubles. Production will allow to create 400 jobs, will provide import substitution of 220 thousand tons per year of the FBB cardboard used for packaging in medicine, the food, tobacco industry and other industries.

System Selection

Kama was required to the management of PPM the management tool by the installation and construction works (ICW) which would allow to have operational data on a current status of construction, on availability of materials, component parts and the equipment, to plan SMR, to create tasks for SMR, to order material resources, etc. As such tool it was decided to use MRO ISU.

Project Progress

In this regard on PPM Kama works on implementation in ISU of a MRO of control functions were initiated by installation and construction works. Specialists of NPP Spectec developed for formalization of requirements to results of works and approved with the customer the documentary procedure "Process of Installation and Construction Works" and specifications on completion of the MRO ISU database and the converter.

On this basis modification of the MRO ISU database and the module of integration with the system of an inventory control regarding data transmission by the order and receipt of the equipment for installation is carried out. The regulations of use of ISU of a MRO in the course of SMR are developed. Users are prepared for work within these regulations, and the configuration of the system is configured according to regulations. Besides, the license to use of the software of TRIM in addition for 5 users is delivered to the customer that increased a total quantity of users up to 41.

In addition to controllability of process of SMR, the implemented functionality will yield also other important results. In particular, to the end of construction and installation the customer will have the ready database on the production equipment which can be used further in processes of a MRO.

The expected effect

Use of ISU of a MRO at stage SMR will ensure safety of information on the made project decisions and changes that is very important for safe operation of the equipment. It will also give the chance to use stage SMR to save all hardware documentation, standards and regulations of a MRO, condition of safe accomplishment of a MRO in the MRO ISU database. Save documentation on control of SMR, results of tests, acceptance acts in a system. The counting of parameters received at tests will become initial at creation of parametrical trends and assessment of changes of technical condition of the equipment in use.

2016

On October 19, 2016 the NPP Spectec company announced completion of works on implementation of the information management system as maintenance and repairs of the equipment of PPM KAMA. A system is implemented on a software platform of TRIM.

Project Progress

The project started in June, 2016 with inspection of processes of the customer and development of the project documentation. The software of TRIM on 36 users was delivered to the customer. Then the database on the equipment of plant was created and delivered (at the moment in it 2800 considered units). Directories of materials and spare parts (5 thousand units) are created. Training of users of a system is carried out. The converter providing data exchange between ISU of a MRO and the system of warehouse and product-based accounting of 1C is developed and put into operation. Data 11 thousand spare parts are transmitted through the converter from the system of 1C in ISU of a MRO. The converter will also provide directory synchronization of both systems, receiving from 1C of data on a remaining balance of a warehouse, goods receipt notes and documents of movement, transfer to 1C of requests for material resources for a MRO and acts of their write-off.

At the beginning of October, 2016 ISU of a MRO is put into commercial operation, the order on the enterprise enacts Regulations of operation of a system. Users of production divisions (preparatory production and paper-mill No. 2), dispatching service, services of the chief mechanical engineer, the chief power engineer, the chief metrologist, department of logistics and also the top technical management of the enterprise are connected to a system.

Project Results

Users began use of a system with registration of defects (notes, recommendations) and operational conditions of equipment. In a system preparation for carrying out the next scheduled preventive maintenance is conducted. In passing users complement the database with standard works, standards of their accomplishment and the equipment.

2011

NPP Spectec starts implementation of the information management system maintenance and repairs of the equipment of PPM KAMA pulp and paper mill. A customer of a system is the service company of plant – Inzhsetservice.

Outsourcing of a MRO

Being the platform of ambitious investment projects, the plant is interested in high readiness and reliability of the equipment, profitability of processes of maintenance and repair (MRO), transparency of costs for a MRO. The solution of these tasks falls within the scope of responsibility of Inzhsetservice LLC on which outsourcing has processes of a MRO of plant. As service organization, Inzhsetservice renders to plant services of repair and service of technology equipment, the auxiliary systems, the equipment of networks of water supply and power supply. And in this regard, the Inzhsetservice company needed the information management system which would allow it to plan, to control, analyze and optimize the costs for service and repairs, to exercise control and the analysis of a status of maintenance entities, to measure key indicators of processes of a MRO and to plan actions for improvement.

Details

As the contractor on system implementation the customer attracted NPP Spectec company. EAM/MRO system of TRIM became a software platform of the project.

Early start

The project started in March, 2011 with inspection of processes of the customer and development of the project documentation. So far these works are completed, developed design specifications – on system implementation, on the database, on analytical tools of a system. In specifications the amount of works, an order and terms of their accomplishment, the requirement to results of works, an order of an acceptance and input of an information system in operation is determined. Specialists of NPP Spectec collect information on the equipment for filling of the database. According to the license agreement between NPP Spectec and Inzhsetservice, NPP Spectec will deliver to the customer of 10 user licenses on the TRIM system.

In addition to automation of operating activities in the field of a MRO, and information support at decision making in the field of a MRO, the expected effect of an implementation project of a system is strengthening of the long-term relations of service organization with the customer, acceleration of reconciliation procedures of cost and amount of works thanks to their justification by objective data of a system.
