Speaking at a session "IT in Retail" within [1]the conference TAdviser SummIT 2017, Evgeny of Mosquitoes, the chief of the department on development of information systems TD TSUM, told about an implementation project of mobile POS in the company. For this purpose the company decided to develop mobile application "The mobile assistant" which selling assistants could use in work and also a hardware and software system for mobile payment of goods.
The choice, completion and implementing solution it was conducted in 2015-2016. The project with pilot implementation of eight devices only with "The mobile assistant" - the assistant to the seller then the second part of the solution – mobile POS was entered began.
As a platform basis solutions were selected by iPod 6 / iPhone 5/5S Apple based on iOS. It was developed together with partners among whom - Sberbank which provided acquiring for work of the solution and acceptance of cards of loyalty, Ingenico company - the supplier of covers, Instelligence company – the main contractor on mobile application. The solution includes also devices for scanning of barcodes, acceptance of cards and printing of checks.
Components of the mobile solution have communication among themselves on Wi-Fi, also it has online access to corporate ERP and CRM to the systems of TSUM. Specially under the project the system of Wi-fi network was rebuilt, Evgeny Komarov told.
As of the end of May, 2017 in TSUM about 600 mobile devices with "The mobile assistant" are used, from them more than 50 devices are equipped with opportunities of mobile POS, Komarov reported. Stationary cash desks in a trading floor of TSUM – about 70, it provided data for comparison.

As of May about 10% of all operations on non-cash payment went through mobile POS, Evgeny Komarov noted. Since solution launch from January to May the average amount of the check through POS grew three times, and the number of such checks – twice.
The TSUM starts similar POS for the couriers, Evgeny Komarov told. As of May, 2017 using these devices there are already real sales, he noted.
Further development of the mobile solution includes implementation of the reporting for sellers, automation of CRM activities, task management of the employee and warehouse transactions.
In total in the TAdviser SummIT 2017 conference, proshedny on May 31, 400 IT heads of the large commercial and state organizations, top managers and experts of the IT companies took part. This year the conference was for the first time held with official support of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation. On an action the reports devoted to global technology trends, the changed political and economic realities, their influence on the IT industry were heard. Also sessions on IT in the separate industries were organized. In panel discussions participants of the summit exchanged views and forecasts on perspectives of development of technologies and information systems.
