On January 26, 2015 the FORS company announced completion of audit of a budgeting system and the reporting on the Oracle Hyperion Planning platform in the Russian representative office of pharmaceutical company "Takeda".
Project Tasks
The system of financial planning and budgeting of Takeda Russia-CIS company operating more than 6 years ceased to conform to requirements of business users over time – response time of servers increased, failures became frequent, performance decreased, the frequent addresses to IT professionals were required. In addition, basic and user functions of a system were under-exploited.

Considering a wide range of active users and high criticality of a system for business, such situation was inadmissible. And the company management made the decision on carrying out substantive audit.
Project Progress
For maintaining the project invited consultants of FORS company. They audited and offered the complete concept of improvement of a system. A number of measures for elimination of the revealed problems – infrastructure, technology and, in particular, work-related applications, organizational is offered. The recommendations about a software update, migration of applications, optimization of data structures and calculations, integration with external systems, to documentation of processes of budgeting, training of administrators and users of a system are developed.
It was audited within a month.
Project Results
As one of candidate solutions of infrastructure problems use of the cloud version of the product Oracle Hyperion Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service is offered.
Evgeny Abramov, the chief financial officer of Takeda company noted: "For us it was very important to receive those recommendations which are really feasible, have actual value and would allow to create the new horizon of opportunities for business. Now we are ready to concentrate the efforts on the next step – carrying out upgrade and development of a system according to the measures proposed by specialists".
