2023: Launch of payment by parts in stores in Siberia

On May 24, 2023, Lenta announced that, in partnership with the Shares service and the Koshelyok application, it had launched payment in parts in Siberian stores.

Lenta became a grocery retailer that provided customers with the opportunity to pay for purchases offline in parts. The partners of the retail network were the Shares service and the Wallet application.

In the "Wallet" application, customers with "Card No. 1" can use a special barcode that combines the function of a loyalty card and the ability to pay for purchases in parts using the built-in "Shares" service. To connect the service in the "Wallet" you need to specify the phone number, check the name, surname and date of birth, as well as link a bank card. The process takes less than a minute.

At the time of purchase, the client pays only 25 percent of the cost, the rest of the payments are debited in equal parts every two weeks from the card of any bank. Buyers use the service for free: there are no interest or overpayments. The use of the "Shares" service also does not imply the signing of a loan agreement and is suitable for paying for any goods from the store assortment.

Thanks to the launch of services, Lenta customers can make large purchases, which can be paid for later.
