The technopark of the Novosibirsk Campus will be equipped with own DPC

Rostelecom Siberia starts project implementation on creation of the Data Processing Center (DPC) for technopark of the Novosibirsk Campus. The planned investment volume – more than 70 million rubles.

Solution

The total area of the Data processing center of technopark will be 215 sq.m. The center is expected placement of 60 racks with the server hardware and necessary infrastructure for this number of servers. The average density of power per 1 sq.m. - 2.82 kW/sq.m. At the same time racks up to 5 kW will make 77%, to 10 kW – 23% of a total quantity.

Reliability

The data center will be designed according to the 3rd level of reliability from 4th possible, according to international standard TIA/EIA-942. The round-the-clock monitoring of parameters of uninterrupted power supply, availability of Ethernet-ports will be performed, to be provided the necessary level of temperature and humidity, and also safety of the equipment from unauthorized access.

Services

Capacities of DPC allow to provide basic services, to both residents of technopark, and third parties. So, the service of Collocation will allow to place own telecommunication equipment (telecommunication cabinets, servers, routers, switches, etc.) on the areas of DPC with connection to communication channels with high capacity. The service will allow to adjust smooth operation of the equipment, to exclude idle times, to ensure physical security of the equipment, to save on infrastructure, to guarantee the best resource availability from the Internet. Besides, Rostelecom will provide to residents of technopark services of high-speed Internet access.
