2019: Development of virtual environment of assessment of forest resources
On October 24, 2019 reported to RKS that the commercial operator of services of the remote sensing of Earth (RSE) and geoservices of JSC TERRA TEH developed virtual environment for representation of key parameters of assessment of forest resources. Work is performed within cooperation of the company with Federal State Budgetary Institution Roslesinforg in implementation of technologies of virtual reality for monitoring and evident demonstration of changes in forestry of the country and also for assessment of cost efficiency of involvement of the woods in economic circulation.

We, following the leading world trends, we transfer accounting of lesoizmeneniye to a digital format. For us use of technologies of virtual reality as instrument of consolidation, visualization and data analysis about a status of forest assets, including their investment attractiveness, is a positive experience. Using the ATLAS VR platform we together with Roslesinforg in an evident form showed how remote space monitoring allows to obtain up-to-date data about any section of the wood and to define the most perspective areas of logging from the economic point of view. Our technological solutions allow to execute assessment of a status of forest fund and to leave with this information to investors, to estimate conditions and infrastructure of forest exploitation. The platform of virtual reality ATLAS VR works at a basis of a complex of technologies of processing of space pictures, classification of pedigree structure as methods of machine learning, assessment of height of a forest stand received using stereoshooting and allows to create digital copies of objects of forestry with a possibility of display of changes in dynamics. The VR platform gives to users an opportunity during the work in the editor independently to load pictures, the user materials, to create three-dimensional content for planning and management of forest exploitation.
