The network of salons of footwear and accessories of Tervolina tests and prepares for start virtual fitting of footwear for the clients at the order online, the director of e-commerce of this company Philip Labkovsky told at the TAdviser SummIT conference on May 29, 2019.
To use this function, the client will need to upload virtual model of the legs to the site of Tervolina. For this purpose it is necessary, having delivered legs in socks on the sheet of paper, to lead round around them phone on which mobile application of the company is installed.
After that it is possible to start the choice of footwear. When choosing goods those places where to the client footwear will reap, are displayed in red color. And where there are no problems, - green.
At the same time that function became available, the retail network still should carry out 3D - scanning of all models of footwear of all sizes presented in its directory using the special scanner from the developer of this technology. With its help the models of an internal surface of footwear considering the smallest parts are created. For simplification of process of selection of footwear when loading virtual model the online directory automatically starts filtering of the directory of footwear according to features of the client.
The implementation purposes in the company call, first of all, decrease in number of return of the goods purchased online. Also Tervolina wants to satisfy as much as possible to requirements of that part of the audience which does not think of interaction with a brand without mobile phone.
Philip Labkovsky reported that function is implemented based on the solution Fittin of the Russian development. The similar solution is already used by retail network of the Ecco footwear in Russia and Afourcustom – the company on custom tailoring of footwear[1].
In general virtual fitting rooms of footwear were not widely adopted in Russia yet. Some shops try possibilities of virtual fitting directly in outlets, installing special scanners for the client's legs directly there. For example, the similar Try.Fit scanner in the pilot mode is used by networks of the Econika footwear, Ralf Ringer, Dekatlon and Intersport in Russia.
Nikolay Gegamov, the director of information technology of "Luding" who worked with CIO in shoe company Carlo Pazolini earlier at a conference of TAdviser noted that the technology of fitting which is implemented by Tervolina is ideal for the company monobrand. Curves are identical, and the buyer who got used to this footwear will use function of virtual fitting, he believes.
