"The 1st Shuttering Company" transferred IT infrastructure to "cloud"

On October 27, 2014 the ActiveCloud by Softline company announced project completion of upgrade and transfer in IT infrastructure "cloud" of "the 1st Shuttering company".

Project Tasks

Rationally created IT infrastructure is necessary for preserving of company competitiveness. However with growth of business charges and service of own hardware increased, growth of number of branches demanded existence of multilevel round-the-clock technical support.

Project Progress

For implementation of the tasks IT specialists of the company made the decision on transfer of the most part of infrastructure in "cloud" and transfer of administration of the available server systems on outsourcing. Project Results

As a result of the complex project more than 60% of the server systems of the enterprise, including an accounting system on the 1C Platform and databases, file storage and a mail service, the user terminals and a legal-reference system, a corporate portal and the external website are transferred to "cloud" of ActiveCloud by Softline. All information services, both cloud, and placed locally, are connected to a single system of monitoring of provider and transferred to support to specialists of ActiveCloud by Softline under control of the selected technical manager. Such approach not only allowed to reduce risks of a transient period, but also promoted deep integration of "cloud" and physical infrastructure of "1OK".

Lease of the licensed software of 1C and Microsoft helped to reduce capital costs.
