The Administration of Saint Petersburg implemented SPUN

On January 28, 2015 it became known of project completion of creation and system implementation of warning of threat of a flood by request of the Administration of Saint Petersburg. Integrator in the project BCC Company.

Project Progress

The ARIA company in 2011 developed for timely forecasting of floods and implemented the unique flood threat alerting system (FTAS) which allows to calculate precisely the level and time of rising of water, the plan of maneuvering by locks on CPC (complex of protective constructions).

— In the process of construction of the Complex of protective constructions the ARIA company carried out tasks of design and installation of tens of the most difficult engineering and telecommunication systems. Today we take the responsibility for their reliable and safe work — Igor Nikiforov, the CEO of ARIA company noted. — Attraction to operation of large objects of the specialized companies — the general trend for many branches of the economy. Project Results

St. Petersburg met the beginning of 2015 in difficult meteoconditions. Twice, with a difference in ten days water throughput and shipping constructions of a complex of protective constructions were closed in connection with flood threat. By means of accurate and harmonious work of employees of a complex and the specialists of ARIA company who are responsible for operation of KZS it was succeeded to prevent once again floods and to save the city from their destructive effects.
