The Audit of IT Infrastructure project for Business Solyushens ProfMedia company

Cooperation of COMPAREX and "ProfMedia Business of Solyushens" began in March, 2009 within the project on inventory of IT assets of holding. According to the results of the booked audit by company management the decision on the conclusion of the license agreement according to the Microsoft Enterprise Subscription Agreement program was made. Within this agreement 13 affiliated legal entities of holding, including Business Solyushens ProfMedia company were joint. In 2011 after final completion of approvals, specialists of SOMPAREX started implementation of the new large-scale project on complex audit of IT infrastructure.

At a stage of preparation of the project by the parties main objectives which needed to be implemented in strictly planned terms were defined. According to the results of the project it was necessary:

• Develop practical recommendations about effective operation, elimination of the current points of instability and increase in cost efficiency of the used IT assets;

• Assessment of a current status of each of IT areas and analysis of "bottlenecks";
• Development of recommendations about adaptation of each of IT areas to requirements of the customer.

Within the project researches of depth of different level on 12 profile areas of IT infrastructure of the customer with fixing and the analysis of results were conducted. According to the results of project implementation on audit of IT infrastructure, the customer received the set of recommendations necessary for the most effective management of the resources. It is important to note that IT assets are the priority instrument of maintaining and business development of Business Solyushens ProfMedia company and the received project results allowed to use this tool most effectively.
