The Russian Navigation Technologies (RNT) company announces end of the first stage of the project on equipping of public passenger transport in Togliatti the GLONASS/GPS system of monitoring of Avtotreker transport. A customer in this project is the Municipal unitary enterprise the Tolyatti passenger motor transportation enterprise No. 3 (TPATP-3 Municipal Unitary Enterprise), the operator of passenger traffic, largest in the city. The partner of JSC RNT in Togliatti – GLONASS Center LLC became the contractor.
For TPATP-3 Municipal Unitary Enterprise the monitoring system and the dispatching center created within this project became the solution of several important tasks. So, the customer had a full range of modern tools for drawing up schedules of the movement of city transport, the constant automated control of accomplishment of planned runs and accounting of fuel and lubricants. The location and movements of buses are visually displayed on electronic cards, and a system automatically reveals deviations from the plan and notifies on them managers. Besides, objective data on work of the vehicles (V) became a basis of a new system of accounting of working time of personnel, allowed to keep the magazine of use of the CU, to considerably increase run assessment accuracy, to plan costs for maintenance and repair more precisely.
The Avtotreker system was selected based on an open competition in which local representatives of the main Russian producers of monitoring systems of transport participated. Let's note that along with price and functional characteristics of the solution, the choice of a monitoring system and the contractor was influenced by existence in a portfolio of RNT of ready-made complete industry solution on control of passenger transport in which practically all necessary functionality in this project is implemented. This solution is checked by practice: systems created on its basis are used in dozens of the cities and localities of the Russian Federation.
Integration of the Avtotreker system with other elements of an information system of TPATP-3 Municipal Unitary Enterprise became feature of the project. So, now the exact data on the actual use of transport provided by a monitoring system automatically are brought in the system of 1C Transport. Let's note that here one more standard solution RNT which provides transfer of the objective information about work of cars from the Avtotreker system in a corporate system of resource management of 1C: Enterprise company and its comparison to planned targets is used. Integration Avtotreker and 1C Transport expanded functionality of systems, allowed to create reports on the planned and actual operation parameters of vehicle fleet, to effectively plan its work taking into account these last periods. As a result, the accuracy and efficiency of accounting increased, and operating costs decreased.
System implementation Avtotreker went to TPATP-3 Municipal Unitary Enterprise according to the scheme, typical for the industry. At first the pilot zone from 14 CU which allowed the customer to be realistic in two months of trial operation about systems capabilities Avtotreker on control of runs and accounting of fuel and lubricants was created. After demonstration of results of work in the Road Management Department, transport and communication of Togliatti the decision on implementation was made.
Now 210 buses are connected to a monitoring system of transport of TPATP-3 Municipal Unitary Enterprise, further their number will increase by 160 units. Plans also provide equipment installation Avtotreker on alternative transport of Togliatti (more than 1500 the CU, generally is minibuses of private carriers).
