The Chinese car maker Haval started data center in Russia

On December 7, 2020 it became known of start of data center of Haval in Russia. This project for the Chinese car maker was implemented by Tegrus system integrator. Financial terms of the contract of the company do not open.

Within the agreement Tegrus constructed complex IT infrastructure for the plant on production of the Haval cars and also designed and constructed technological DPC in its territory.

Specialists of Tegrus created the concept of a modern IT complex for the plant, carried out calculation of an optimal configuration of all systems, designed the general architecture of the IT platform, performed installation, tuning, testing and start of IT infrastructure in commercial operation.

The Chinese car maker Haval started data center in the Russian Federation

The constructed IT infrastructure represents a complex of the interconnected and interacting IT systems. The DPC of 200 sq.m contains 30 racks with a possibility of expansion. The data center was equipped with ventilation and air conditioning systems, lighting, grounding, a power supply system of racks and conditioners and also monitoring systems and the structured cable network. All complex of technical project works was executed less than in a year.

Industrial production management systems and the organization of data storage in DPC were implemented based on servers of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Also solutions of Huawei and Brand-Rex were used.

After the end of construction of infrastructure Tegrus helped the customer to transfer a production management system from the old platform to new servers and to organize its fault tolerance, told in the company.

The team of the best specialists of Tegrus worked on the project – it provided quality control at all stages and the continuity of execution of works — the technical director of Tegrus Alexander Mikhaylov noted.
