The decision on need of system implementation of electronic document management for JSC SAZ was made at the end of 2007. When choosing the platform for automation systems existing in the market, including "Directum", "DocsVision", "Documentum", "CASE", Euphrates and others were analyzed. The decision for benefit of "DocsVision" was made because of the best ratio price/functionality, existence of the developed partnrsky network (including in the Samara region) and the competent organization of support by a vedor.

As a partnr for project implementation Volgaevmkompleks company as the organization having positive experience in creation of similar solutions and capable to fully adapt the DocsVision platform for needs of JSC SAZ was selected.

Real works on implementation were begun in the spring of 2008. During conducting examination and development of the Concept on automation the decision on separation of the project into two queues was made. A system according to the first stage of implementation was brought into operation on December 25, 2008.

Characteristics of the first stage are as follows:

  • a system is operated by about 50 users, headed by the CEO — all online;
  • processes of the general office-work, including control of execution of organizational and administrative documents on the enterprise, resolutions of the CEO on the entering and internal documents and also on undocumented instructions are implemented;
  • all documents at registration are scanned and sent only in electronic form.

It should be noted the possibility of total control of the events which are taking place at the enterprise appeared with system implementation. Among other results of implementation it is necessary to mention:

  • complete elimination of losses of the documents which got to a System;
  • an opportunity to quickly find any required document;
  • increase in level of performing discipline, overall picture in this part became more visual.


In the project progress the Contractor showed capability to the rational solution of assigned tasks and the attentive attitude towards the client.

Results of operation of the first stage are recognized positive, and implementation of the second queue assuming, mainly, process automation of approval of drafts of internal and outgoing documents of all types is planned this summer.
