2024: Automation of commercial planning processes
The Samolet Group has automated the processes of commercial planning, financial modeling, budget planning and management consolidation of development business units using the Russian Optimacros system. The Samolet Group announced this on May 30, 2024. The implemented tool was used already during the budget session in the fall of 2023. Optimacros has formed a sales plan for 100 + projects, while reducing labor costs by more than 30%. The implementation of the platform was carried out by OptiTim Consulting.
Airplane needed a tool to automate forecasting and planning of operating activities, allowing scenario modeling of business in a few hours. Previously, it took a significant amount of time to change data in a hundred disparate files. In search of a scalable solution, "Airplane" chose the Optimacros system.
As part of the first stage of the project, OptiTim Consulting specialists, together with the Airplane team, adapted the existing methodology for the platform concept, built an architecture and developed a financial model. They also set up integrations with the customer's key information systems through DWH and created a role model with the distinction of user rights.
The project with Avtomol is one of the largest and most interesting Optimacros implementation projects in our practice. High standards in terms of performance, functionality and convenience of the target solution for users, ambitious deadlines for solving individual problems, work on creating and optimizing the target methodology in parallel with the tasks of automation directly - the key characteristics of the project. The approach of the "aircraft" to solving strategic tasks of digital transformation creates the basis for high rates of high-quality automation. At the second stage, OptiTim Consulting experts transferred the sales planning methodology used by the commercial unit to Optimacros. One of the key tasks was to reduce the time that managers spend preparing data for a budget session, as well as to apply a single target methodology to all stages of budgeting in operational planning. The next step was to get seamless data updates between the accounting systems and individual teams in the customer's organizational structure.
Two months after the start of the project, "Airplane" received a tool that allows you to plan the first sales for the main real estate objects - apartments and apartments. And four months after the start of the project, the company's employees formed a sales plan for the entire portfolio of development projects and could conduct a competitive analysis of investment sites and promising projects.
The project continues to develop actively - the joint team of OptiTim Consulting and Samolet sets up models in Optimacros to plan the economic results of the group's non-development types of business, and also point-wise improves the methodology in certain blocks of existing models: additional analysts, revision of target planning algorithms, expansion of planning products, improvement of product functionality. As of May 2024, the system simultaneously employs 250 + specialists from the commercial block, financial block, product directorate and analytics department.

In parallel with the introduction of the system in Avtomol, an internal competence center was created to independently support the functioning of the system. OptiTim Consulting specialists train employees who will be able to support models and implement new solutions on the Optimacros platform in the future. At the same time, the integrator team continues to provide architectural support and develop new functionality at the request of the customer.
