The center of Implementation Leaked completed the project of automation of control over program assets

On April 13, 2015 it became known of the project of management of program assets implemented by COMPAREX company by request of the distributor of pharmaceutical medicines of TsV "PROCEEDED".

Project Progress

Priority - the choice of an optimal solution for carrying out the project taking into account requirements, both from top management of the company, and from IT department.

After the overview of the existing SAM automated systems as optimal the solution Flexera Software FlexNet Manager – the first SAM solution which combines opportunities was selected:

• inventory of all IT assets,
• collecting of statistics of use of software,
• accounting of conditions of license agreements, finance documents and rules of use of products.

The main plus of FlexNet Manager is existence of the library of school desks numbers (SKU) numbering more than 150 thousand SKU of software products. The library considers the name, a license type, the producer, the version, edition and other product characteristics, including monthly updates.

Within three months the team of specialists of COMPAREX implemented the project.

Project Results

"Over the joint project we highly appreciated professionalism of the COMPAREX ITAM command in the field of management of program assets for operating time. Deployment of the virtualized infrastructure complicates process of accounting of licenses in our company: it is necessary to study carefully all license agreements and to consider features of different vendors and the licensed technologies. Despite similar difficulties, the team of specialists of COMPAREX completed all works just in time, – Svetlana Borisova, the information support specialist of TsV "PROCEEDED" told. – Within this project training of specialists of TsV "PROCEEDED" in work with FlexNet Manager then maintenance of operability of FlexNet Manager completely passed to us was also made".
