At the end of November, 2019 the Chinese technical giant Huawei started a government blockchain platform of data exchange between state institutions.
The head a blockchain direction of Huawei Zhang Xiaojun explained that it is not so much a contribution to profitable enterprise how many an opportunity to abolish unnecessary intermediate processes on which too much precious time usually leaves and by that to achieve permanent economy of means.
As storage of a huge number of government data, the blockchain of Huawei connects more than 50 Beijing organizations, such as municipal tax administrations, medical insurance companies and bureau of public security. Replacing with itself the centralized information warehouses, the blockchain provides more effective management of databases, including requests, sharing of documents and other functions.
Besides, the blockchain platform integrates old databases of separate state departments which often were completely independent and incompatible among themselves. Now, if the tax administration needs information from medical insurance company, she will be able to receive it much quicker, than earlier as both services use a single system.
Zhang explained that by November, 2019 the directory already includes more than 44,000 files and 8,000 permissions for certain users. Later it is going to include in the system of 16 more Chinese areas and districts. Thanks to the special system of admissions the blockchain system of Huawei provides interdepartmental information exchange, allowing separate departments to perform cross validation of directories. Huawei is not going to be satisfied with what has already been achieved meanwhile and already conducts negotiations with the People's Bank of China on cooperation within the project of digital currency.[1]
