The project of creation of hi-tech command center by university in NITU MISIS

The project of creation of hi-tech command center by university in NITU MISIS became the best in the "Command Centers and Decision Makings" nomination. The leading technology university of Russia received in the arsenal advanced technologies for effective holding actions and adoption of collective solutions.

The authoritative jury of international contest of EMEA InAVation Awards deservedly awarded the first place to the project of DELIGHT 2000, having recognized innovation and originality of the solution. In addition to quality evaluation of work and technical advantages of the solution experts noted extent of positive changes in work of the Academic Council of MISIS on adoption of collective solutions and support of parity of all members of the supreme body of management of university.

Level of project implementation was highly appreciated by the rector of NITU MISIS D.V. Livanov: "The upgraded hall of the Academic Council allows to solve versatile problems of management of the innovation activity of the university. Decision making process and joint management of university is brought to qualitatively new level. Thanks to advanced technologies of work with information the full disclosure, collective nature, equality, legitimacy and efficiency of decision making is reached".

Design and equipping of the hall of the Academic Council is implemented within complete reconstruction of the conference hall. Optimal specifications for holding meetings of the Academic Council of university and also conferences and meetings, including international are created. Management model university represents three-level structure, the including managerial concept, architectural planning solution and audiovisual infrastructure.

Command center university, the office of the rector and 4 MISIS branches are united in uniform technical infrastructure. Communication between governing bodies is performed using a video conferencing, a local computer network and the Internet. Due to creation of a complex system of communication between the center and divisions of university it is possible to conduct geographically distributed meetings with participation of management of branches of MISIS and partners of university. The created system allows to fix quorum and to avoid possible errors according to the procedure and summing up vote. Uniqueness of a system – in complete recording of meetings that guarantees competency of implementation of the made decisions.

As a result of project implementation in NITU MISIS the command center university equipped with advanced technologies for work with information is constructed.
