"the real is Hypermarket" continues use of the systems of exchange of electronic documents

In 2011 the company "real, - Hypermarket" cooperated with 4 service providers rendering services of electronic document management ([[ EDI - Electronic data interchange Electronic Data Interchange|EDI]]). The most impressive results among them were shown by the Corus Consulting CIS company which managed to propose effective solutions and high-quality service.

Solution

According to the coordinator of the EDI project in retail chain stores Real Alexey of Mitino: "Implementation of EDI technology in our network is one of the major projects on optimization of document flow and logistics chains of deliveries. Since 2010, we observe broad interest of suppliers to work on this technology. If earlier the EDI technology enjoyed popularity only at the large federal and international companies, then on EDI even small local suppliers prefer to work now".

Objectives

Continuing the cooperation with Corus Consulting CIS company, retail chain stores Real started the project of electronic document management using the Electronic Digital Signature (EDS). The project objective consists in minimization and the subsequent exception of paper data exchange between the supplier and the retailer that allows to reduce significantly temporary and finance costs of the enterprise and also considerably minimizes influence of a human factor. Within pilot start testing of two documents using the EDS began: price lists and notifications on calculations of discounts and penalties.

"Development of document flow with the electronic signature is organic continuation of the EDI project. This direction is designed to increase attractiveness of Real network for our partners since in its framework all relationship of network and suppliers becomes much more transparent. Start of electronic invoices will allow Real to receive documents in the shortest possible time and to make the decision on payment almost online. Thus, we actually will be able to carry out payment already next day after formation of documents in the ERP system of the supplier", - A. Mitin commented.

Expectations

In the new year both companies are going to continue the innovation process, implementing the unique web application Electronic Courier integrated with the EDI platform using which exchange of any legally significant documents including electronic invoices will be made. Thus, paper document flow will be almost eliminated, providing economy not only on postal and courier services, but also on processing and data storage. Besides, this service considerably facilitates search of necessary documents and completely removes need for paper archives.

"In a parallel with development and active replication of EDI technology in recent years, in the legislation of the Russian Federation there was a number of significant changes towards legalization of Electronic invoices. After the changing legislation our company acquired technical solutions for the translation of documents in a paperless type (for example, Accounts, Acts and annexes to Acts, Acts of reconciliations, Agreements and annexes to them, etc.). The companies which transferred the documents to an electronic form significantly simplified work with them and improved business indicators.
