The 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) completed the project of complex automation of the Timbermash Baikal LLC enterprise using the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8". Operational accounting of stock remainders is as a result organized, by 10 times the speed of goods acceptance, formation and order processing to suppliers increased. Significantly the quality and service rate of buyers increased that promoted increase in sales amounts.

The Timbermash Baikal LLC company - works at the Siberian market on delivery of multioperational heavy industrial equipment. From the moment of foundation in 2003 Timbermash Baikal is an official dealer of John Deere company, world leading manufacturer of the logging and construction and road equipment. Main activities of the enterprise: delivery and an after-sale service of the technology of production of John Deere, training of operators, delivery of original spare parts, implementation of supplies from a warehouse and under the order. Offices, warehouses and the service centers of the company are located in Irkutsk, Bratsk, Ust-Ilimsk, Krasnoyarsk and Tomsk.

Due to the development and increase of production capacity the enterprise needed a new information system which would provide high-quality interaction between divisions. It was required to accelerate processes of preparation of the management reporting, order management of buyers and formation of supplier orders. One of key requirements was the organization of operational data exchange with information systems of prime vendors.

As the software product for the solution of assigned tasks the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 system (1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management) was selected. The choice of this system for the company which main profile – sale and an after-sale service of the equipment, was based that its functionality allowed to implement both accounting, and managerial functions of the enterprise with the minimum completions and costs.

The 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) which cooperates many years with Timbermash Baikal LLC and has information on specifics and requirements of the enterprise became the partner in implementation.

During the project a system was unrolled in 40 workplaces in all company including remote divisions. Work of warehouses, purchasing departments and sales, repair customer services, accounting, personnel department and payroll is automated.

In a project deliverable the speed of receiving and information exchange between divisions of the company several times increased. There was an opportunity to control the movement of goods on warehouses and goods waiting (from the supplier or when moving between warehouses). It allows the staff of purchasing department to create timely supplier orders, excepting a possibility of overflow of warehouses on these or those positions. Data from the electronic waybills and price lists arriving from partners are unloaded in a system automatically while it was necessary to do it manually earlier. As a result the speed of work with suppliers (formation and order processing, goods acceptance) increased by 10 times.

The efficiency of work with customer orders increased. Earlier at receipt of the request from the buyer the manager of sales department had to transfer manually lines from a hand-written form to the order of the buyer, to manually put down quantity of positions and the price from the price list (XLS format) and only after that to create documents for shipment. Now managers quickly process requests of clients, automatically loading forms of orders into the program of 1C which calculates order cost according to the prices set in price lists and reserves goods. Time for document creation for implementation is several times reduced. Clients quickly obtain all necessary information on existence of goods, the prices, an order status, etc.

In the program the search mechanism and selection of analogs of goods is implemented. Now during telephone conversation with the client any employee of department of supply, irrespective of experience and knowledge of product assortment, can offer the client interchangeable goods in case of absence in a warehouse of a required position. If in order processing time the program registers lack of the necessary name, then the complete list of articles of interchangeable goods with indication of a remaining balance on all warehouses is automatically offered.

As a result the quality of the service offered clients increased, service rate of buyers increased by 5 times. It helped the enterprise to increase the competitive advantages in the market and to increase sales volumes.

Operational data exchange with corporate systems of prime vendors of the company is organized. Reports on the course of product sales are provided to suppliers weekly that allows the supplier to perform competent approach to a question of formation of warehouse stocks.

Besides, the quantity of errors when accounting decreased to a minimum, problems with conducting tax accounting and delivery of the regulated reporting completely disappeared.

Orlov Alexander, the logistics specialist of Timbermash Baikal LLC notes: "Thanks to the solution "1C: Upravlniye manufacturing enterprise 8" we had an opportunity to control activity of all divisions in the online mode. Earlier processes of management of warehouse stocks, preparation of reports, the analysis, planning and formation of orders for replenishment of territorial and spaced warehouses, in the majority, were executed manually. As a result the large volume of working time was required for accomplishment of the same work. Now we use a system which took accomplishment of routine daily transactions under the sensitive control. It allowed to release working time of employees and at the same time to exclude possibility of errors and defects because of carelessness or fatigue.

By preparation of operational reports it is not required to lift and check primary documents, it significantly saves our time. It became much simpler and more interesting to work. One of important tasks which is solved using a system is the customer notification about receipt earlier ordered z / parts at the time of goods receipt on a warehouse. A system shows excellent results, there are positive reviews from clients. There is a wish to note that there are no limits to perfection therefore we are going and to continue in the future process of adaptation of the program under specifics of our business.
