Tolmachevo Airport completed upgrade of infrastructure

On June 26, 2015 the Asteros group announced completion of works in the project of technology and engineering equipment of the international airport "Novosibirsk" (Tolmachevo). The total cost of the project is 140 million rubles.

Project Tasks

Reconstruction of air terminal complex "Tolmachevo" is directed to strengthening of its leading positions among air hubs of Siberia and the Far East and provides implementation of new technologies for effective management and ensuring high-quality service.

Increase in a passenger traffic and expansion of a range of the services provided to them demanded implementation of modern services and mechanisms of providing their reliable.

Project Progress

Works on upgrade of the international airport "Novosibirsk" began in 2013, within the Federal target program "Development of the Transport System of Russia". Technology and engineering equipment, creation of an end-to-end system of security of the Tolmachevo airport charged to a command of the Novosibirsk branch of the Asteros group.

Specialists of Asteros constructed a hi-tech failsafe data processing center in which all critical services of the customer migrated. The computing cluster of Tolmachevo, including hardware and software systems and storage systems underwent upgrade.

For air terminal complex projects are created and the modern low-current and engineering systems are implemented, the structured cable network is built, failsafe network infrastructure of the airport is unrolled. Management systems and monitoring, master clock system, cable television, a radio communication, digital announcer's broadcasting and others are implemented and customized. In the territory of an object the new system of information visualization numbering more than 100 video walls is put into operation.

The operational center – a uniform decision point where by means of integration with the different systems of an object data on all incidents in the territory of the transport hub and operation parameters of the technology systems are flown down underwent upgrade.

In composition of video surveillance more than 300 cameras of high definition, are covered by them all objects of Tolmachevo, including the station square. Within the project are upgraded and integrated into a uniform complex:

• control and management system for access,
• warning system,
• security alarm
• some other.

The end-to-end system of security covers all technology processes connected with service of the park of aircrafts, escalators and acceptance \issue of baggage, service of passengers and other.

"We expect that by 2020 the passenger traffic of Tolmachevo can increase up to 6 million passengers therefore at reconstruction we paid special attention to creation of the powerful IT base and engineering platform. Implementation of such systems will become a guarantee of progress of the airport in the conditions of constantly growing loading" — Evgeny Yankilevich, the CEO of JSC Tolmachevo Airport noted.
