Atos delivered to Total the quantum simulator

Customers: Total

Oil industry

Product: Atos Quantum Learning Machine
На базе: BullSequana S-серия Servers

Project date: 2018/12  - 2019/05

On June 28, 2019 the Atos company working in the field of digital transformation announced delivery of Atos Quantum Learning Machine (QLM) of serially made quantum simulator, the French international energy company Total. Within the research project the Total group is going to use Atos QLM for support of all directions of business.

Atos Quantum Learning Machine integrates in itself an ultracompact hardware platform and a universal language of programming and allows researchers and engineers to develop and make experiments with the quantum software.

A system models the laws of physics which are the cornerstone of quantum technologies for calculation of exact execution of the quantum program with a two-place accuracy.

Quantum modeling will find different scopes in Total group, including molecular chemistry and chemistry of materials, optimization of power networks, vehicle fleets and industrial devices and, in the long term, hydromechanics and also will allow to show seismic images.
