Toy Store completed automation of electronic document management

On September 16, 2014 it became known of start of process of automation of transfer of legally significant documents by Toy Store company with participation of Edisoft company as EDI provider of network.

Project Tasks

The Toy Store network needed the non-standard solution – without affecting integrity of the accounting system, to organize storage of electronic invoices, their automatic signing without use of the web platform.

Edisoft developers suggested to use for these purposes a new product of the company - the integration Link Server system.

On March 22, 2016 the Edisoft company announced completion of automation of retail chain stores Toy Store and system implementation of electronic document management, to work with suppliers by means of the integration Link Server platform^[1].

Transition to electronic document management is caused by orientation to decrease in total costs, quality improvement of work of shops and employees productivity. Reduction of manual work when carrying out processes of the order in a supply chain and final goods acceptance allowed to reduce risks of errors. Automation of transfer and verification of invoices and consignment notes helped to optimize work of accountants and to refuse long-term storage of paper document revisions. The pilot stage of the project started in December, 2014, and in the spring Toy Store transferred to 2015 to a new format of work with electronic invoices the most part of the suppliers. For last year the platform successfully underwent testing in practice, the number of assignable documents was expanded. Mass transition of partners to a full stroke of electronic document management began spring of 2016, according to the scheme of business processes of the retailer.
