The Transtek company with the assistance of IT smart Systems (IT Group) company completed the works on automation of accounting of fuel consumption for the transport park of cargo carrier - Transtek LLC.
Background
It was required to automate fuel payment by drivers at 10 gas stations located on the fixed route of cargo cars. The Transtek company agreed from several gas stations about mutually beneficial cooperation: drivers of cargo carrier fuel only at the selected gas stations and are serviced through specially created automated jobs.
As a result of a research of the market and search of the most suitable system for the solution of this task the offer of IT smart systems company was the most attractive by a number of parameters – at the price, reliability of operation and functionality.
Solution
During the project a system "IT-Oil is implemented : Non-cash payments", are programmed smart cards and POS terminals for fuel payment process automation by drivers at gas station are delivered.
Specialists "IT. Smart of systems" within two months implemented system module of automation of sale of oil products "IT-Oil: Non-cash payments", programmed 500 smart cards and delivered 10 POS terminals on places of fuelling. The uniqueness of the solution consists in use of proximity cards with the Mifare chip for which reading it is only enough to touch with the card the reader, without the need for direct contact of the card with the terminal. It completely excludes a possibility of failure of a contact unit of the POS terminal at reuse of smart cards of a system of non-cash payments.
Result
The created solution allowed to optimize considerably expenses of the company on fuel for operation of heavy-load cars due to setting of process under accurate control. In the long term cooperation of the companies equipment is planned by the same solution of 10 more local gas stations.
