Transmashholding will monitor a status of trains with the help a blockchain system

On October 4, 2018 it became known that Transmashholding made the decision on cooperation with Vostok company which purpose is ensuring verification and the distributed storage of a system of collecting and data analysis about a status of the locomotive park.

Blockchain system it will be constructed based on modern technologies of processing of big arrays of information and it is integrated with the solution SmartMaintenance intended for intellectual diagnostics and the forecast of technical condition of the equipment of locomotives which for the benefit of Transmashholding is implemented by Clover Group company.

At the heart of the solutions implemented by Clover Group and Vostok technologies of data collection and processing from the difficult sensor network of the locomotive containing more than two hundred sensors lie. Development which Vostok should perform, is intended to provide transparency of the collected data, their security from unauthorized changes and possible loss. Its implementation will help to increase the speed of verification of the arriving data, to reduce resources by search and identification of anomalies, to increase quality of predictive analytics.

It is expected that trial operation of a new system will begin in 2018, and industrial, covering all park which is in an area of responsibility of Transmashholding and Lokotekh company - until the end of 2019.

According to the CEO of Transmashholding Kirill Lipy, quality of collecting, processing, storage and data analysis directly influence the forecast of work of the locomotive, so and efficiency of all locomotive complex. Therefore here new technological solutions are very necessary.

Alexander Ivanov, the founder and the CEO of Vostok, noted that the relevant task of developers of digital technologies consists in creation of the underlying working instrument for implementation of relevant projects, ready to application here and now, without long and expensive development. Solutions of the Vostok project are proposed such tool, he explained.
