Transneft Protection (Galaktika ERP)

Using the standard project solution (SPS) developed on the basis of the Galaktika ERP system the following processes were automated: logistics, accounting and tax accounting, personnel management, management of the capital investment and construction.

Project Features

Within four months the automated system of accounting, tax, operational accounting, personnel management of the company numbering 15 thousand people located in 13 cities and six federal districts is implemented and put into full commercial operation.

The state of affairs before product introduction of Galaktika

The company was faced by problems of the most rapid implementation. Other suppliers suggested to implement the project within 18 or 12 months.

At the first stage (2 months) - to provide the automated calculation and advance payment and the salary to personnel. At the second stage (2 months) - to adjust accounting, tax, operational accounting, to automate personnel management of the huge company.

"Our cooperation with Transneft company continues more than twenty years, and usually is involved in projects on automation of its divisions up to 45 employees of Galaktika, - the senior vice president of Galaktika corporation Valery Basalyga explains. – "200 specialists participated in this project at its peak. The complexity of the project on Transneft Protection consisted in extreme urgency of works, need of the optimal organization and distribution of large volume of the involved resources and people".

The most difficult moment

For a project adherence to deadlines specialists of Galaktika had to cost without stage of trial operation and at once to put a system into commercial operation.

The Galaktika corporation uses own methodology of deployment of modules of production management systems which allows to implement the automated tools most quickly. However only in the project Transneft Protection the period of tests was for the first time lowered.

Implementation terms

Implementation of Galaktika took only 4 months. This project has no precedents on terms in all domestic practice of implementing solutions for industrial automation.

Automation of the created society "Transneft Protection".

In the created single database 13 branches which are in different time zones work (from Khabarovsk to Moscow).

The specifics of the project are that trial operation of a system was practically not. The enterprise was created in June, and for July the salary and accounting records was created in a system Galaktika. All project is performed rapidly.
