Prosoft-PK automates work of TsBS of Kurortny district.

In St. Petersburg open auction on supply of equipment, electronic library cards and protective labels for control of relocation of funds in libraries for SPb of GBUK "TsBS of Kurortny District" took place. Based on an auction the complex of actions for automation of library processes in nine cultural institutions will be executed by Prosoft-PK company.
Solution
For automation of library processes the Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) technology will be used. Its application promotes increase in level and service quality of readers, reduction of a share of "manual" work at issue and acceptance of books, carrying out inventory of library stocks.
RFID technologies are already successfully applied in the Russian state library, the Russian state library of arts, the Central city children's library of A.S. Pushkin in St. Petersburg, RGPU libraries of A.I. Herzen and Higher School of Economics.
