"The Tyumen plywood plant" implements the system of stream input of data

On January 11, 2017 the Tyumbit-ASU company announced the implementing solution ABBYY FlexiCapture for automation of input of accounts in the ERP system in the Tyumen plywood plant.

Daily more than 100 invoices for payment come to finance division and department of supply of the Tyumen plywood plant from different partners. Manual entry of data in the ERP system took essential time of employees and increased risk of emergence of errors. The number of the documents requiring operational approval steadily grew, as well as time which needed to be spent for search of the necessary papers. Therefore the Tyumen plywood plant made the decision to minimize participation of operators in processing of documents and also to exempt highly skilled engineers from department of supply from routine process due to automation of input of accounts in the ERP system, their approval and payment.

For these tasks the Tyumen plywood plant selected the solution based on ABBYY FlexiCapture, systems "Galaktika ERP" and Directum. Works were performed by the consulting company "Tyumbit-ASU" which specializes in software implementation for automation of electronic document management, sales, production, construction, tax and personnel records.

Integration of ABBYY FlexiCapture with "Galaktika ERP" became one of important components of the project. Thanks to it there was an opportunity to autocomplete the document in a system on the basis of the documents recognized the scan images. Important feature of the solution is seamless integration of processes from input of the document, before approval and payment. The employee participates in process only at a decision-making stage. The reconciliation statement and history of the prices of earlier bought goods goes to the Directum system together with the invoice for payment. Thus, at approving there is all necessary information for making decision on payment of account or on failure in approval.

Project Results

After ABBYY FlexiCapture implementation work with accounts considerably became simpler: processing speed of documents increased, the quantity of errors in the obtained data was reduced. The Tyumen plywood plant increased employees productivity of finance division and department of supply due to automation of routine transactions.

It allowed to increase employees productivity of finance division and department of supply and also to exclude the risks connected with a human factor: errors at data entry and loss of documents. Approval of one account takes only 2 minutes instead of 4 hours now.
