UEC-Aviadvigatel received a grant for the implementation of a project on import substitution of software products

2023: PLM and CAD Software Import Substitution Project Grant

UEC Aircraft engine"" (included in), United Engine Corporation Rostec following the results of the competitive selection, a grant Russian Information Technology Development Fund (RFRIT) for the implementation of a project on to import substitution software products was won. The amount of grant funding will amount to 1.174 billion. The rubles received funds will be domestic software used to introduce categories PLM CAD and with the possibility of designing products from polymer composite materials. The UEC announced this on April 14, 2023.

The project was initiated to maintain the stability of design and technological work at all stages of the life cycle of the aircraft engine and to exclude violation of the rhythm of production processes under conditions of sanctions.

The project is included in the list of especially significant and is included in the roadmap "New Industrial Software." Software development is aimed at achieving the technological independence of the engine industry. Perm Design Bureau acts as a center of competence for the formation of uniform requirements for UEC enterprises - developers of new aircraft engines, as well as a pilot platform for the introduction of Russian software, - said Vyacheslav Khristolyubov, director of digital transformation of the United Engine Corporation.

Import substitution of software will be carried out by a team of designers, technologists, calculation engineers, production representatives. It must prepare requirements for product creation.
