The Ural scientific research institute of a ftiziopulmonologiya together with partners implements the information Phthisiology TV system

Within the project on information and technology upgrade of antitubercular service of the Ural Federal District (Ural Federal District) the Ural scientific research institute of Ftiziopulmonologiya, NP STC Telemedicine of the Ural Federal District together with TrueConf created the end-to-end Phthisiology information and telemedicine system (KITS-F).

Status

A system covers six Subjects of the Russian Federation of Ural Federal District - Kurgan, Ekaterinbursky, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk regions, the Khanty-Mansi, Yamal-Nenets autonomous areas and is implemented in 19 medical institutions. In two years on this problem more than 25 scientific and practical video seminars devoted to current problems of fight against tuberculosis in the course of which organization it was necessary to resolve not only issues of implementation, but also purely geographical were held. The time difference at participants of conferences reached till 6 o'clock.

Solution

The server of video conferences TrueConf Server is integrated with the multifunction system of medical document flow of KITS-F. The automated jobs (universal telemedicine) doctors-phthisiatricians (Automated workplace UTM) equipped with personal computers with TV headsets and webcams are created and also specialized video and information servers and databases are developed. All system is calculated for work on Internet channels with a speed from 128 Kbps.
