The management of Ukrainskiye aerozoli LLC set for AMI company the task to organize effective work of IT infrastructure of the enterprise using the modern reliable solution which part database servers, application 1C servers Enterprise and servers of terminal access had to be.

Implementation

The project on creation of a computing core of IT infrastructure using technology of a clustering and virtualization of the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system based on the hardware of HP company became an optimal solution of an assigned task.

The server platform of HP of ProLiant DL380 G7 with the new six-nuclear Intel processors E5649 executed on technology 32 nm with Intel Hyper-Threading technology and hardware support of virtualization of Intel Virtualization Technology became a basis of the solution (VT-x). In each of two HP servers of ProLiant DL380 G7 about 24 GB of OZU for ensuring comfortable work of all applications in the mode of virtual environment were set.

For implementation of a cluster and storage of large volumes of information an external disk system of HP Storageworks MSA P2000 G3 with reservation of RAID controllers and the high-speed external interface of SAS 6Gb was selected.

For ensuring operation of the hardware of the solution the software of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 with the built-in technology of virtualization Microsoft Hyper-V and also the newest version of DBMS of the corporate level of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 was selected.
