Transition to use of the solution ELIS

On November 13, 2018 the PROF-IT GROUP company reported that UAZ switches to the solution ELIS optimizing work with dealers and processes of an after-sale service of cars. Development and deployment was executed by specialists of PROF-IT GROUP.

Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant

According to the company, ELIS represents the complete solution on information support of processes of an after-sale service of cars. Using a product the enterprise is going to increase quality of customer service – to help dealers to reduce terms of service of cars, to increase efficiency of diagnostics, to save time and resources for selection of parts.

In 2018 the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant announced the concept of Digitalization of UAZ, creation of Digital services became one of key aspects of the program of development. Solution development of ELIS became the project supporting this direction of strategy.

The product includes the electronic directory of spare parts, process charts (the instruction for service), information on standards of time for service, possibilities of interactive viewing electrical circuitries, sections with diagnostics of faults and training. The solution works in a web application format: it is not necessary to install software on the computer of the user, Internet connection and the browser installed on the computer suffices.

The main advantage of ELIS – formation of content according to the interests not of designers, and the dealers performing an after-sale service of cars. ELIS displays interrelations of process charts, necessary spare parts and standards of time for service. All this allows our customer to build effective cooperation with dealers.

The implementation project is separated into two stages, for November, 2018 creation of a cover of the solution is complete, there is a filling by content of the directory of spare parts on modifications UAZ of the Pro and UAZ the Patriot, process charts (instructions for service) and data on electrical circuitries.

Staff of customer services can address ELIS at all important stages of service of the car. Learn a fault recovery method, check the sequence of technology transactions, define the necessary spare parts and the equipment, if necessary to look at the training materials – all these actions it is possible to make in one application.

Implementation of a MES system for accounting of course of production

On October 31, 2018 the Prof-IT Group company announced system implementation of MES (Manufacturing execution system) at Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant (UAP).

A MES system is intended for synchronization of technology processes and tracking of the status of production of products online. As a result of its implementation UAZ optimized production logistics, processes of accounting of release of nodes and giving of component parts on the pipeline. Registration of start of a body of the car on sections of welding, coloring, assembly is carried out now to production and its passing within the platform "by Prof-IT: MES Mechanical engineering".

Roll cars of different modifications with a set of options off the production line of Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. UAZ the Patriot, the Pickup, Pros gather on one assembly line. In order that the pipeline worked rhythmically, without idle times and without excess stocks, it is necessary to provide timely posts with component parts precisely, in time and in the necessary sequence. The MES system monitors the movement of the car on all production chain online and automatically gives signals of need of delivery of these or those component parts to the line. New approach to production management will allow to increase efficiency of assembly of cars, to reduce reserves of materials, to exclude errors in a complete set of cars — Ruslan Gorevoy, the operating officer of UAZ LLC considers.

As of October, 2018 mobile and stationary data collection terminals — only about 100 points integrated by MES and a quality management system of SOK 2.0 act on Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. Manual entry of data is minimized, barcodes and automatic logic are used. Using systems operators can find all information on a product and its component parts, understand at what production phase there is a car, to check compliance of a product to the main criteria of quality. On the first point of the pipeline the barcode for each VIN-number which accompanies a body at stages of welding, coloring and assembly is printed. On each control point workers of production scan information on component parts necessary for a specific body.

In a project deliverable specialists UAZ received means for planning and control of execution of terms of technology transactions. In addition to information on materials requirements, we can collect data for accounting, financial and planned departments. All this helps our customer to analyze quickly the status of production and to timely make the weighed decisions — Ivan Mikhaylov, the operating officer of Prof-IT Group summed up the project results.

Transition to SOK 2.0 quality management system

On September 27, 2018 the Prof-IT Group company announced that Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant passed to SOK 2.0 quality management system.

The SOK 2.0 system allows to fix deviations from the quality standards in the online mode and analyzes existence of discrepancies from accepted standards at all production phases. At detection of critical discrepancies to quality the management system blocks the further movement of the car on the pipeline.

Earlier the enterprise used the solution SOK 1.0, then information on deviations from the quality standards was brought in a system at the final stage of production – after passing of the line of tests. After transition to SOK 2.0 specialists of the plant can carry out online monitoring of properties of products in a production process – at all important stages of creation of products. System implementation was performed by Prof-IT Group company – the strategic partner of the enterprise in the field of complex automation.

File:Aquote1.png
"SOK 2.0 system implementation – an important stage of automation of our production and improvement of product quality. Online monitoring excludes a possibility of transition of products to the next stage of production if deviations from regulations are recorded. The car will not leave the pipeline, all tests will not be successfully passed yet and all faults are eliminated".

Quality inspectors bring information on discrepancies in the stationary and mobile terminals installed on control posts in welding, painting and assembly productions. Everything, for September, 2018, about 60 control points act on the plant. In production of assembly and delivery of cars 45 control points work – defects of the chassis of a motor compartment, the electronic systems, adjustments of wheels, assemblies of the dashboard and bodies are registered here. In painting production product quality is traced on sections of putting primary soil, polishing and coloring of bodies.

"Quality control is exercised by the set parameters. At the same time a system allows not only to analyze properties of the created products, but also to collect statistics necessary for optimization. Data retrieveds can be used for planning of more long-term actions for improvement of quality".
