2019: Solving small automation problems based on Microsoft Power Platform

The Unilever development and implementation team is responsible for implementing business processes as efficiently as possible from an IT perspective. As the volume of internal local IT tasks is constantly increasing, it was decided to transfer part of the tasks to Awara IT consultants, and direct internal resources to solving problems of exceptional importance.

Unilever does not always have time for a thorough description of the task, terms of reference and similar documents. This part is completely transferred to Awara IT.

A number of tasks have been completed to quickly automate business processes. The focus on speed is important for the client, since the business requires an operational solution to problems, especially when it comes to deliveries or logistics. It is necessary to get the result in the shortest possible time. It is thanks to the ability to quickly understand the task and use the most suitable technology that it became possible to get quick results.

For example, using PowerApps, you need to distribute promotions for brand products to specific supermarkets. To do this, a simple web interface has been developed in which responsible employees choose a supermarket, product names, and the amount of discount. If you have the necessary information (discount amount, specific store, etc.), you need to spend several minutes to go through the process. Previously, the execution of the task could stretch for a significant time.
