2021: LXP Training TalentTech
On December 24, 2021, Unilever in Russia, one of the world's manufacturers of everyday goods, turned to the LXP-system "TalentTech Training" to increase the level of knowledge of Data Driven Decision Making (DDDM) skills of employees of the logistics and customer service department of the Russian office. This smart system relies on artificial intelligence to deliver content and create a personalized learning experience.
The LXP system "TalentTech Training" helped Unilever solve key problems:
- Assess the level of knowledge of logistics and customer service personnel in the data area.
- Train employees on the tools they need to work with data.
- Close the DDDM skills gap.
Work on solving the problems took place in several stages.
Stage 1. Preparation of the training program. Unilever has identified four modules by which to form a program:
- digital trends in business (Machine Learning, Data Science, AR, VR etc.);
- RTVA (cloud computing);
- infographic and data visualization;
- mathematical thinking (statistics and analytical thinking).
The task required a castomized approach, since there was no ready-made suitable Unilever DDDM product on the market. The TalentTech Training team of methodologists analyzed the programs of content providers and formed its own product under the request of the client.
Stage 2. Conduct an input evaluation. After registering on the TalentTech Training platform, employees underwent adaptive testing to determine the level of proficiency in the necessary skills. The TalentTech team formed four tests for knowledge of each module. If an employee passed the test the first time, demonstrated ownership of the course program, he was immediately issued a certificate. For the rest, the system determined in which modules and topics skills are not enough. She performed smart content selection using artificial intelligence and automatically assigned training to these modules.
After completing the primary assessment stage, 40% of employees verified their skills, the rest went to the training phase. Such a personalized approach to training, according to the information company, saved 225 hours of work time per 100 person.
Stage 3. Employee training and exit testing. All training content was organized and posted in the TalentTech Training application. The employee himself chose a convenient time and platform for study. After training, a re-evaluation was prescribed to obtain a cut in efficacy.
According to the results of the final testing of Unilever and TalentTech Training, it was concluded that the number of employees with the Data Driven Decision Making skill increased by 85% over the month.
Stage 4. Collect feedback and issue certificates. The TalentTech Training team put together an up-to-date employee development program for Unilever, so it was important to evaluate its effectiveness. The conclusions on the value of the program were based on two metrics: the percentage of analytical assessments completed and the collected feedback from employees. As a result, the course received a user rating of four out of five. In open questions, the majority of listeners described the content as interesting and useful.
"Thanks to cooperation with TalentTech Training, we were able to train front and back office employees to systematically think and debug business processes using data tools. Using the LXP system optimized staff development costs and reduced training time by creating an individual program for the parameters we need within one platform, " |
"Data Driven Decision Making is one of the popular and trending directions in business training. The employer is interested in his company having more specialists with these skills. At the same time, it is important that training happens quickly and efficiently. The LXP-system "TalentTech Training" fully meets these requirements - employees receive relevant personalized educational content through AIML advisory/-technology, and companies - transparent analytics and the ability to track how effectively training passes, "- noted Artur Nalbandian, the manager on development of TalentTech. |
