MegaFon is responsible for communication quality in the Ural customs authority

The MegaFon company won the large tender for communication services provision to the Ural customs authority in 2013, the press service of operator reported on March 28, 2013.

Obligations

According to the agreement the operator provides remote divisions of the Ural customs authority with the reliable fixed Internet access. The data transfer rate guaranteed by MegaFon — not less than 2 Mbit/sec.

According to terms of the contract the contractor also integrated in a single virtual private network (VPN) of several territorially separated objects of the Ural customs authority. Now customs officers will be able to perform operational data exchange with colleagues from the protected internal network.
