The Ural turbine plant entering into Renova Group intends to transfer in the next two years management of activity to an end-to-end modern system.
A common information space will allow to manage in real time fixed assets, to perform end-to-end planning, optimizing the most different processes. Finally it should lead to significant cost reduction and acceleration of production.
In addition to the ERP system, the enterprise intends to use the management program for document flow in enterprise scales of EMC Documentum and an automated design engineering system (CAD) of Pro/ENGINEER.
As TAdviser knew, the enterprise did not decide on the ERP system choice yet. So far the assessment of functionality of the solutions which are available in the market is carried out. A system is going to be integrated into information environment of the enterprise, in particular, to ensure joint work with a CAD. It is supposed to implement either "seamless" integration, or data exchange through intermediate tables.
According to the Director of information technology of UTZ Victor Mikhaylovich Nasobin, the management considers a priority of implementation of ERP control automation by personnel, payroll calculation, planning and material resource accounting. At the first stage it is going to automate about 150 jobs, late their number will be increased up to 500.
