In Ural Wi-Fi covering is organized

On February 28, 2014 the telecom operator "" announced Business to Дом.ru project completion on upgrade of telecommunication infrastructure of Ural hotel complex.

Project Tasks

Due to the load of network which increased several times and need of creation of network segment of Wi-fi using technology of seamless transition, it was required to make changes to structure of network. At the same time there was a need - to provide stable access rate for hotel guests at the level of 4 Mbps.

Works included preparation and implementation of the project on upgrade of Wi-fi network and increase in its scope up to 100% in common areas (reception, halls, the concert hall) on all floors of hotel complex.

Project Progress

Before works specialists "Дом.ru Business" conducted examination of the existing infrastructure, studied conditions and features of premises for drawing up the card of access points of Wi-fi. Developed detailed recommendations about optimal arrangement and quantity of spot jotas for signal quality improvement.

Solving a problem of the organization of access to network of employees of hotel management and conference rooms where video conferences are regularly carried out, specialists of operator organized connection on allocated channel with a general capacity of 15 Mbps.

Then the operator increased capacity of an Internet channel to 1 Gbps, unrolled new access points of Wi-fi Hot Spot, than provided a complete covering of the territory of hotel.

Project Results

The seamless network Wi-fi with a wide scope and stable access rate is created by the project implemented by the contractor thanks to what hotel guests had an opportunity of Internet connection from mobile devices, being in any point of the building.

Monitoring of network is carried out 24/7, guaranteeing to the customer the round-the-clock technical support and reliable access to all services "Дом.ru Business" that it minimizes technological hazards. The administration of hotel complex obtains all necessary information on work of Wi-fi in the form of daily reports that was one of requirements to the project.
