The Gidropress experimental design bureau entering into Rosatom state corporation is practically an age-mate of domestic nuclear sector. The enterprise performs a complex of design, computational and theoretical, experimental and research and production works on creation of reactor installations for the NPP of different function. The reactor WTWPR (water-to-water power reactor) installations developed in bureau are used not only on the domestic NPPs, but also abroad — both on put into operation, and at the stations which are under construction now.

At the enterprise the tough quality management system works in design and designing of reactor installations. As before, a key output product of Hydraulic press are drawings and documentation, however tools for creation of project solutions were strongly modified in recent years.

In the last two-three years as Sergey Sitsky told, the deputy chief designer of experimental design bureau, the requirement of customers considerably changed — in addition to "classical" paper documentation, request also documents in electronic form which can be used for all lifecycle of models: 3D models, related drawings and specifications. It, according to Sitsky, demanded implementation at the enterprise of the new technologies conforming to modern requirements of preparation of projects and based on datacentrichny approach at which all project and design solutions are presented in the form of the structured data set about reactor installation and documentation forms in the form of statements on demand.

Search of the PLM solution which would meet all requirements imposed by Hydraulic press began at the end of 2009. As a result stopped on information environment of Teamcenter developed by Siemens PLM Software company. This solution arranged not only the functionality and reliability, but also an opportunity to use it in nuclear power. His readiness for work with requirements to system engineering, to trace of requirements with project solutions (when tight coupling between the first and second is established and thus implementation of each specific requirement is monitored) and also with expanded navigation aids on a data model and visualization of objects became especially valuable advantage of Teamcenter as Sitsky noted.

The project of the reactor VVER-600 installation intended for work as a part of the power unit of average power became "polygon" for approbation of a new system. As the project orderer the design branch of Rosenergoatom Concern which set essentially new requirements to results of works based on use of datacentrichny technologies, in particular decomposition of all elements of installation and their representation in the form of a hierarchical tree with a possibility of their consideration from the different points of view — functional, design, settlement, circuit, descriptive, etc. — and the subsequent verification of project solutions by correlation of the project on the main requirements imposed to VVER-600 acted. Besides, development of a uniform data model had to consider obtaining design documentation as statements and descriptions from uniform digital VVER-600 model (drawings should be received from an installation 3D model, and text documents to be created on the basis of the structured descriptions).

In information environment of Teamcenter as Sitsky told, the structure of reactor installation in a species of a tree of objects of the top level and geometrical solid-state models of the equipment of reactor installation associated with it were entered. After the preliminary analysis of structure and separate elements on the basis of their functional and constructive purpose new decomposition of reactor installation of the top level was constructed. The connected geometrical models of objects of reactor installation in three-dimensional visualization and a hierarchical tree of the same objects allowed, according to Sitsky, visually and just to reveal the inaccuracies which are available in the sheet of the project. Besides, during implementation the information technology of requirements management of Teamcenter System Engineering and Requirements Management was tested.

The VVER-600 project — the first, but not only in which the experimental design bureau Hydraulic press is going to use advantages of new information environment. In new information environment project works to RU VVER-TOI and the AES-2006 project for the Baltic NPP are already conducted. As Sitsky reported, in the nearest future the enterprise will sign the development agreement of the new project concerning automation of design-technology preparation of production. The project is included into the program of transformation of IT of Rosatom state corporation.
