JSC Uzbektelekom implements a technology platform of providing mobile services

BCC Group implemented a technology platform for providing mobile services WINGS for JSC Uzbektelekom, the press service of operator reported on October 30, 2012.

Start

The national operator of Uzbekistan JSC Uzbektelekom makes the decision - to expand a range of the provided services for a corporate segment, in particular for banks and to bring service of SMS mailings to the market, having provided to corporate clients access to the high-performance gateway.

BCC Group is involved in start and project management. Specialists of the contractor carried out market research and made a choice for benefit of the WINGS platform, the solution of an operator class for application programming and services on the basis of technologies SMS, MMS, USSD, IVR, WAP.

Solution

Special attention is paid to performance and reliability of the solution which should work in mode 24х7х365. It should support sending the SMS under signal SS7 protocols and have the productive SMPP server acting as the gateway for connection of clients of JSC Uzbektelekom in structure. Also the solution should support USSD technology that is caused by perspectives of commissioning of additional channels of interaction with subscribers. The WINGS platform met all qualifying standards.

The WINGS platform is set on a server cluster in data center of JSC Uzbektelekom. All works on installation, setup, start-up and adjustment of the solution were made by joint efforts of staff of developer company and the contractor.
