V-laser (Accellos WMS (Radio Beacon WMS))

The antTechnologies company completed the works on automation of a warehouse of 2700 sq.m. for retail chain stores "V-laser".

"V-laser" is the largest the supplier of home appliances in the Far East. The retail chain stores "V-laser" contain more than 70 shops of home appliances and 4 product supermarkets. And respectively work of all trade divisions of the company directly depends on efficiency of warehouses.

"At a design stage of a new warehouse complex we considered several offered warehouse control systems, - the leading specialist of an ACS of V-Lazer company Andrey Eroshenko says, - and as a result stopped on Radio Beacon Warehouse Management System (RB WMS) of the Canadian company Radio Beacon Inc. provided by ANT-Tekhnologiya company as this system most fully answered our tasks. And we are glad that did not make the wrong choice. For today all tasks which were set before implementation of this project are successfully executed."

Within the project the wireless network on the equipment Symbol including 10 industrial terminals was unrolled, for problems of marking label printers of Zebra Technologies company were used. The complete solution provided an ability to manage with a warehouse in real time, to automate all technology processes in a warehouse and to provide high to the accuracy of accomplishment of warehouse transactions.

Feature of implementation of this system in retail chain stores "V-laser", according to the head of department of implementation and maintenance of the ant Technologies logistics systems Dmitry Perov, was the fact that it was succeeded to create the reliable failsafe interface between WMS Radio Beacon 5.1 and ERP SAP/R3. In close interaction with high-class specialists of SAP/R3 of V-Lazer company the solution considering specifics of both systems that in practice meets extremely seldom was constructed.

At the last stage of project implementation training of all groups of specialists who are involved in work of a new warehouse complex is provided. All employees received not only theoretical preparation, but also fixed each grade level in practice.
