VALIO (Microsoft Dynamics AX)

In Valio company the large-scale project of automation of business based on the ERP solution Microsoft Dynamics AX is complete. The project is one of the largest implementations of Microsoft Dynamics AX in several industries at once: to the food industry, logistics and distribution. As a partenr on implementation the GMCS company is attracted. Valio – one of the large-scale European dairy concerns. Valio – the only importer of products of Valio in Russia.

In a new management system the head office of the company in St. Petersburg, branch in Moscow, the plant on production of processed cheese and distribution center in Ershovo and also a distributed network of external warehouses works.

Distribution process optimization became one of the priority directions of the project. Within implementation of the ERP system processes of management of supply chains, including formation of purchase orders and maintaining sales orders and also tracking of the movement of goods are automated.

Control automation of warehouse logistics was implemented practically at the same time with construction of the distribution center of Valio to Ershovo using the principles of address storage. Now the ERP system allows to monitor existence of stock balance in all analytical cuts and in a warehouse in Ershovo, and in the rented warehouses. The standard functionality of the ERP system is expanded due to use of the specialized solution of GMCS Cargo Terminal.

Since January 1, 2008 in a new system accounting and tax accounting, fixed asset accounting, taxes, actual costs, banking and cash activities, settlings with suppliers and contractors, settlement in the company is kept.

A system is brought into commercial operation. Its users are over 70 employees, including top management of the company.
