VK and Samara region will develop tourism using AI

2024: Digital Development Agreement

VK and the Ministry of Tourism of the Samara Region signed an agreement on cooperation in the development of digital technologies. The document was signed by the Minister of Tourism of the Samara Region Artur Abdrashitov and the director of the analytical products center VK Predict Roman Styatyugin. VK announced this on March 20, 2024.

The parties plan to use predictive analytics AI services to develop domestic tourism in the region. Technologies will help assess the dynamics of tourist flows and predict their change, determine how the interests and needs of residents and guests of the region differ.

The research results will take into account more factors for the development of the urban and tourist infrastructure of the Samara region. Analytics will make it possible to effectively use existing points of attraction and create new ones, as well as increase the return on investment in infrastructure projects and large events.

The signed agreement with this holding enshrines our intentions and desires to cooperate in a number of areas: from analytics of the portrait of a tourist and the tourist flow in the Samara region to the promotion of our tourist opportunities in other regions of our country. The agreement has a practical plane and in the very near future we will be able to talk about who comes to the Samara region and who is interested in traveling to our region, - said the Minister of Tourism of the Samara region Artur Abdrashitov.
