VTB optimizes the hub of financial transactions

On October 8, 2013 the Cinimex company announced project completion of optimization of the hub of financial transactions of VTB.

Project Tasks

The basis of a KFT-system is IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and components which are responsible for routing, transformation and the approval of settlement documents. It was necessary to upgrade these products according to a specific objective of VTB.

Project Progress

As a core of a system the BPM engine on which the business logic is implemented is used and processes which are required when carrying out calculations are described.

Boris Bituyev, the head of service of automation of calculations of VTB, noted: "The nature of traffic of bank calculations is very uneven, there are rather big daily splashes connected with completion of calculations at the exchanges and with end of trading days at banks. Usually clients try to register at the latest moment the payment therefore peak loads on a system are much higher than averages in a day. The hub of financial transactions was present at bank earlier, however eventually its performance ceased to correspond to requests of business of VTB, as was the cause for making decision on upgrade of this module".
