VTB 24 introduces the system of biometric data protection of clients

VTB 24 tests the bimodal biometric system of data protection from cybercriminals. In the science city of "Skolkovo" developers of TsRT-innovation company offered the IT product for mobile banking to representatives of the management and experts of VTB 24 bank.

At the end of 2016 VTB 24 held pilot superficial system testing of recognition of the person and the client's voice. A biometric system authenticates a voice, intonation, height, a timbre and also specific biological parameters of a human face. A system will compare data retrieveds to reference indicators of this client.

Now VTB 24 using focus group approves the biometric system of data protection: by April, 2017 its efficiency in work of mobile banking will be revealed. It is supposed that such protection will become popular among users of mobile application as will facilitate entry into the account of the client using phone of cellular communication equipped with the camera and the microphone.
